2010 Memorial Day Service: Monday, 31 May 2010 10:00 AM
Please join us for our first annual Memorial Day Service on Monday, 31 May at 10 AM. The service will be held here on the Museum grounds in front of the new SEAL Memorial. Guest speakers will include Rear Admiral Gardner Howe (SEAL) and Jack Ouellette, father of SEAL Brian Ouellette, Killed in Action in Afghanistan. There will be a wreath laying ceremony, a bagpiper will play and the Treasure Coast AFROTC Color Guard will participate. Retired Navy Chaplain Rev. Dr. Bob Bedingfield will conduct the service. Please join us in honoring all our service men and women killed while serving our great nation in all wars since the birth of our great Nation.
SEAL Memorial Sculpture Installation Event – Friday, 28 May 12:00 Noon
You are also encouraged to attend this special event where the new SEAL Sculpture will be delivered and mounted to the pedestal on the new SEAL Memorial. This event will also be held on the Museum grounds at the actual Memorial site. This event is scheduled for 12:00 noon. This sculpture is a unique piece of art created by renowned artist Roy Shifrin from Vermont and forged at American Bronze Foundry in Sanford, Florida.
